“SERVICE” the word very often used by great people like Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi., keeps happy the destitude and even the donor. The destitude of the needy feels contented for getting relief from the clutches of poverty. But the happiness felt by the donor is infinite and in comparable cannot be measured by any material thing that is really divine. It elevates him to new horizons if thoughts, makes broad minded and keeps on the heights of name and fame in the society. In brief is reflects the popular saying “Service to mankind is Service to God”
“CARING HEARTS” sprang up from a few young minds
to serve the needy, mainly the people below poverty line. Their anguish for the
plight of the poor ignited these young minds to launch an organization to cater
the basic needs of the down trodden, especially from the rural areas, in spite
of their social and financial limitations. In fact their sincere attempts to
serve the poor are like the “Squirrel’s share in Sree Rama’s great despair”.
‘Live and let others live’ is the soul of their spirit. They respond positively
to the word ‘please’ from the poor and rise themselves to the Himalayan heights
of happiness, when they say ‘thank you’, after having the relief they sought.
Their ideas, ideals and actions are kindled by the thought – ‘THE HANDS THAT SERVE ARE BETTER THAN THE
LIPS THAT SYMPATHISE’
The Social Activities of CARING HEARTS flow in various
channels, bringing under the shelter of its ‘care’ the needy from different
sections of the society.
To keep in its fold care the marginalized communities like physically challenged and mentally retorted persons, ‘Caring Hearts’ provides the basic needs to raise their standards of living.
It takes care of the aged people, neglected and thrown out by their own children. Its volunteers often visit the aged homes, provide their needs and make them delighted with soothing words.
Donating blood to save the critical patients in another generous activity of the ‘Caring Hearts’.
To bring ‘Health Awareness’ among the people of rural and tribal areas, Caring Hearts enlightens them by conducting health camps to make them realize the importance of hygienic values in life
If even sincerely tries to adopt some remote villages to achieve overall development of the dwellers.
Since it is a collective and collaborative task, we are
in need of helping hands and caring hearts. We sincerely appeal to the
generous, rice community to extend their helping hands to bless a continued and
everlasting existence to caring hearts to serve the destitudes.
